I was born in 1963 in Melbourne, Australia. I have pursued my art career for over 30 years having participated in numerous group shows and my work is found in many private collections. I use multimedia as a means of expression. My main works are manipulated photography, soft pastel, acrylic paint, inks and relief prints with a dash of collage. I often mix mediums around on the one piece. I have a home studio that I work in and enjoy walking in nature to support my art.

Life is organic, relying on systems to support its existence. Living and non living elements all work to create ecosystems that both support and extend life. The interaction within these systems is reliant upon each elements context. One cannot exist without unity within their ecosystem. If one element is moved or destroyed it affects not just the element itself but all things that relied upon it within its ecosystem. A small element is actually a large impactful  structure that can create, link with or destroy its ecosystem..

My body of work focuses on the elements that create ecosystems, how they interact with each other and their co dependence. A thriving ecosystem works with many smaller or larger ecosystems containing many elements. One cannot exist without the other.

My ink works are a portrayal of the interconnection between elements in a system. A microscopic union. My pastels are aligned with larger ecosystems and their elements. A macroscopic union. Acrylic works represent seemingly choatic elements that react with each other as they move around, asking the viewer to make their own connections within the work. Most of my photography is my seen connections within environments with various yet unique shapes, forms and colour.
